Gesshin has a sweet aroma which is similar to that of nihonshu (sake). Once on the palate, it delivers a full flavor that is quite clean and refreshing with a slight bite to it. The aftertaste is quite sweet and fragrant, which makes this shochu somewhat difficult to stop drinking.
